Discussion on Breast Cancer Awareness and Treatment Approaches

To promote greater awareness of breast cancer and highlight recent advancements in its treatment, Professor Zafor Md Masud, cancer specialist and Founder-President of the Cancer Patient Support and Welfare Organization, was recently invited as the keynote speaker at North East Medical College, Sylhet.

During the session, he discussed in detail the risk factors of breast cancer, early symptoms, the importance of screening, modern treatment approaches, and key aspects of ensuring quality patient care. With the active participation of students, physicians, and healthcare professionals, the session proved to be highly informative and was successfully concluded.
