Breast Cancer Screening Awareness Program at Jahangirnagar University

The Cancer Patient Support & Welfare Organization (CPSWO)—which works to provide financial, emotional, and social assistance to cancer patients, survivors, and their caregivers—recently organized a Breast Cancer Screening Awareness Program at Jahangirnagar University. CPSWO Founder and President Professor Zafor Md. Masud led an informative and interactive session with students, faculty, and staff. He discussed the early warning signs of breast cancer, the importance of self-examination, major risk factors, and the need for routine screening to ensure early detection.
The purpose of the session was to share accurate information, increase awareness, and inspire the community to take proactive steps in cancer prevention. CPSWO expresses sincere appreciation to the Jahangirnagar University community for their support and enthusiastic participation.
